Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between government policies on online reputation management and improving the investment climate in Indonesia. In the digital era, the reputation of state institutions is no longer merely an intangible asset but a crucial factor influencing risk perceptions for global investors. Using qualitative methods through a systematic literature review, this study explores how public communication strategies, digital information transparency, and fiscal incentive policies such as tax holidays are synergized to build a positive digital identity. The results show that government policies focused on the digitalization of public services and proactive online reputation management can minimize information asymmetry and build investor trust. The study's findings indicate that a strong digital reputation serves as a catalyst for macroeconomic policies in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). However, major challenges remain: the consistency of the government's narrative on social media and the stability of non- economic policies, which often contribute to negative sentiment in the digital footprint. This study recommends the need for integration between government public relations units and technical ministries of economics to create a coherent national branding strategy in the digital realm for sustainable investment.
