Abstract

This study analyzes the strategic role of investment infrastructure development as a
foundation towards an advanced economic vision. The methodology employed is a
comprehensive literature review of empirical and theoretical studies, focusing on the
economic impact of infrastructure through systematic searches in academic databases and
qualitative synthesis of key findings. Results indicate that infrastructure investment, both
physical and digital, has a significant positive impact on Gross Domestic Product growth,
productivity enhancement, job creation, and potentially reduces regional inequality if
carefully planned. Digital infrastructure, in particular, proves to be a catalyst for innovation
and economic transformation. Nevertheless, challenges in financing, regulation, and large-
scale project implementation persist. The conclusion affirms that infrastructure is a core
pillar of economic progress. The implications of this research highlight the need for robust
regulatory frameworks, innovative financing schemes, process simplification, and effective
risk mitigation to optimize infrastructure development in achieving sustainable advanced
economic goals.
