Abstract
literature, content analysis Climate change poses a real threat to the global agricultural sector, with
significant impacts on food production, food security, and farmers' livelihoods. The agricultural sector
also contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, necessitating effective mitigation strategies. Agricultural
research plays a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to address these challenges. This
article aims to identify, analyze, and synthesize the most effective agricultural research strategies in
addressing the impacts of climate change. The research methods used include a systematic review of
scientific of research reports and policies, and case studies of successful agricultural initiatives. The
results indicate the need for a comprehensive and integrated agricultural research strategy. This
strategy includes the development of crop varieties resistant to drought, floods, and pests; efficient
water management through drip irrigation and water conservation techniques; sustainable
agricultural practices such as agroforestry, soil conservation, and the use of organic fertilizers; and
the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to support early warning systems,
data-driven decision-making, and information dissemination to farmers. Furthermore, research should
focus on developing policies and institutions that support climate change adaptation and mitigation in
the agricultural sector. Further research is needed to test the effectiveness of this strategy in different
local and regional contexts, as well as to identify barriers and opportunities in its implementation.
